Charitable endeavors are a critical part of the Mashpee Women’s Club mission. Since our founding in 1997, we have raised and donated nearly $300,000 to Cape-based charities and community programs through a variety of fundraising efforts. These include monthly 50/50 raffles; focused efforts such as A Baby Center blanket collection, the Mashpee High School Backpack Program, and the Cape Cod Foster Closet Clothing drive; galas such as Casino Night, Murder Mystery Dinner and Art & Wine Soirées; and annual events such as the Golf Outing, Fashion Show and Holiday Boutique featuring specialty Basket Raffles and Silent Auctions.

Our fundraising efforts have also enabled us to award scholarships to worthy graduates of Mashpee High School, a hallmark of the Mashpee Women’s Club over the years. This has grown to three scholarships each year to recipients that meet specified criteria.

The Mashpee Women’s Club’s activities seek to integrate all three parts of our multi-faceted mission of social, educational and charitable. In addition to the events presented above, monthly luncheons are an opportunity for members to be involved with all of these aspects: socializing with other members and guests; learning from speakers and programs; and contributing items and raising monies to donate to local charities.
